Used! Just in on consignment from one of our regular, long-time collector/clients! Another light, loud and lively Custom Shop Tele – This time it’s based on a ’59 Custom Telecaster with double bound body in a beautiful, Chocolate 3 Tone Sunburst finish with a Time Capsule NOS finish package. It has ultra-thin, nitrocellulose “Flash Coat” lacquer (sometimes referred to as “Relic Ready”), which is not buffed out. It is glossy, but due the thin nature of the nitro, they don’t buff it. They just leave it in its natural state which does have a slight, orange peel texture and Closet Classic Nickel/Chrome hardware. Overall the guitar is in excellent original condition without any serious issues, repairs or damage. It has been played, so there may be some fine, superficial marks here and there, but no major dings, dents or wear. One modification has been made – the off white side dots were hard to see so the original owner had them replaced with normal white side dots. If I didn’t mention it here I do not think you would notice as it is not detectable and looks completely stock. But since he pointed that out to me I wanted to list it here too.
The body is lightweight Alder, the neck is rift-sawn Maple with a Dark Rosewood fingerboard and ’59 Large C profile, 7.25” – 9.5” compound radius, Medium Vintage 47095 frets, and a pair of excellent sounding hand-wound ’58 Telecaster pickups. More details below and in the photos. Like all our used / vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get. Original hard case, certificate and pictured accessories are included.

Due to multiple entities, including the factory and the warehouse, we cannot completely manage our stock. The stock can change at any time. It is possible that the inventory could run out once the order has been made.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. We cannot exchange or refund your order if it has been 30 days since the purchase.
For your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same condition as when you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
