Used! Just back in on consignment. This is one of our Masterbuilt John Cruz MVP Series 1960 Strat Relics and it’s a darn nice one at that! It has a fantastic, Heavy Relic finish with some of the great, trademark John Cruz style treatments. It’s in excellent condition without any serious issues, damage, repairs, etc… it does appear to have some hanger rash, but it’s hard to tell if that is part of the original Relic job or came later. Regardless, it blends right in with the Relic’ing, so it’s not a big deal. Fantastic tone and playability. Incredible vibe. Like all our used / vintage gear this one has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get.

This particular guitar is built to modified early 60s Strat specs and has a very special hand-dirstressed, Heavy Relic finish package to replicate decades of road worn wear and tear! Another nifty feature is the push buttom switch hidden discretely in the center of the volume knob. When activated this puts the neck / bridge pickup combination at your fingertips for all those Jimmy Page / Ritchie Blackmore type tones. Even a bit of Tele flavor. Of course all the classic Stratocaster sounds you know and love are still there too. Right where they should be.

The Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, but they play like a dream. Easier chording, faster leads and no fretting out when you go for the big bends thanks to the 1&11/16″ nut width, flatter 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Adjustments are a breeze too! The Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak.

I feel like I’m hosting an infomercial here- But Wait! There’s more!!! It’s all true though. These are great guitars. You can’t make this up! … Did I mention these guitars also have an ultra-comfy, Custom Mid 60’s C neck profile. At .850″ – .950″ it’s a handful, but not obnoxious. Perfectly shaped to fit in any size hands.
